These terms apply to your use of cardcountacademy.com ("the site"), operated by CardCount Academy ("we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Educational use
The site provides free educational content and practice tools about blackjack card counting. The blackjack simulator uses play money only; nothing on the site can be exchanged for money or prizes. Nothing on the site is legal, financial or gambling advice.
2. No guarantee of results
Card counting does not guarantee winnings. Results in real games depend on rules, conditions, skill, luck and casino policies, and you can lose money. Please read the disclaimer.
3. Your responsibilities
- Follow the laws and casino rules that apply where you are. If you choose to gamble, you must be of legal gambling age where you live.
- Do not use this site, or any device, to track cards at a casino table. In some jurisdictions that is a crime.
- Do not misuse the site: don't attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, overload it with automated requests, or use it for anything unlawful.
4. Intellectual property
The text, lessons, guides, design, graphics and code of the site are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial learning and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or sell substantial parts of the content without permission. Names of counting systems and books mentioned belong to their respective authors and owners.
5. Third-party links
The site links to external websites, such as sources and support organizations. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
6. Availability and changes
The site is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. Progress stored in your browser may be lost if you clear your browser data or if the site's storage format changes, and we can't recover it.
7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the site or its content will be accurate, complete, error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including gambling losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
