CardCount Academy is an educational product. It teaches how card counting works and lets you practice with play money. It is not a way to make money.
No guarantee of winnings
Card counting does not guarantee that you will win. Even when played perfectly under favorable rules, the edge it can provide is small, and short-term results swing widely in both directions. Many players who count still lose money. Past results in our simulator say nothing about results in a real casino.
The house edge doesn't disappear
Counting only helps in certain games and at certain moments. Rules, the number of decks, how deep the cards are dealt before a shuffle, and continuous shuffling machines can reduce or eliminate any benefit. In most other situations the house keeps its edge.
Laws and casino rules vary
Whether and how card counting is allowed, and how casinos may respond to it, depends on where you are and changes over time. Casinos may limit bets, shuffle early or refuse play. Using a device to keep track of cards is a crime in some places — for example, under Nevada's NRS 465.075. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws and rules that apply to you.
