This page lists every cookie and browser storage item CardCount Academy uses. It is short, because the site uses very little.
Cookies
CardCount Academy does not set any cookies. There are no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and no third-party scripts that could set them. That is also why you don't see a cookie banner.
Local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage — a feature similar to cookies that keeps data on your device and never sends it with page requests — for the functional items below. They are strictly needed to remember your own training progress.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cc-method | First-party, functional | Remembers the counting system you selected. | Until you delete it |
cc-learning-v1 | First-party, functional | Remembers which lessons you marked as understood. | Until you delete it |
cc-stats-v1 | First-party, functional | Powers your progress report and recommendations. | Until you delete it |
How to delete it
- Use the controls on the progress page to delete all progress, only statistics, or only your selected system.
- Or clear this site's data in your browser settings (often under "Privacy" or "Site settings").
Future changes
If the site ever adds advertising or analytics, those services may use cookies or similar technologies. Before that happens, this page and the privacy policy will be updated, and where the law requires it you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
